Most QR code generators make you pay to keep a code alive. You print a thousand table cards, the free trial ends, and the codes stop working. QR Studio draws normal codes in your browser: no account, no watermark, no expiry date, and the file is yours.
When the address might change, or you want to know whether anyone scans the poster, make a trackable code. It points to a short link on this site that you can re-aim at any time, and every scan is counted by day and device. Even if you stop paying, codes you printed keep redirecting: only editing, extra codes and long history pause.
Free includes one trackable code with 30 days of scan history. Pro is $5 a month for 50 codes, a year of history, CSV export and a logo in the centre.

Is QR Studio free?
Yes, with no account and no install. Does QR Studio upload my data?
Only for editable, trackable codes. Normal codes are drawn in your browser and nothing is stored. A trackable code stores its short link id, the web address you enter, a name, and per-day scan counts with the device type and country of each scan (no names or IP addresses). A short one-way hash of the creator's network address is kept only to limit abuse. Delete the code to remove it. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open the page and start working. It works on desktop and mobile browsers.
How does the Pro licence work?
Pro is a monthly subscription handled by Dodo Payments (our merchant of record). You receive a licence key by email and paste it under "Have a key?" inside the tool. One key works on up to 3 browsers.
Do QR codes made here expire?
Normal codes never expire: the address is stored inside the picture and nothing depends on our servers. Trackable codes point to a link on this site; they keep redirecting even if you stop paying, and only editing, extra codes and long history pause.
What is the difference between a normal and a trackable QR code?
A normal code holds the address itself, so it cannot be changed after printing and cannot count scans. A trackable code holds a short link that redirects to your address, so you can change the destination later and see how many scans it received.
