Print barcode labels from a list or Excel, on Avery sheets or a thermal printer

What Labelsheet does

Turn a list or an Excel column into barcode or QR labels on Avery sheets or a thermal roll, as a print-ready PDF. No app, no account.

Labelsheet turns a list of codes into labels you can print today. Paste one code per line, paste a block of cells from Excel or Google Sheets, open a CSV, or number a series such as CVX-0001 to CVX-0300. Pick the barcode type and the label stock, check the live preview of the sheet, and download a PDF laid out to the exact positions of the labels.

It is built for the jobs that usually end in a fight with Word mail merge: asset tags for laptops and monitors before an audit, bin and shelf labels for a stockroom, product labels with EAN or UPC numbers, QR codes on storage boxes. Barcode fonts in Word often print codes that do not scan because the start and stop characters or check digits are missing; here every symbol is drawn by a barcode encoder, EAN and UPC check digits are added or verified, and linear codes get the full label width and a proper quiet zone so they scan from a phone or a handheld scanner.

Everything happens in your browser: the codes never leave your computer and the PDF is vector, so it prints sharp on a laser, inkjet or thermal printer. Free prints the first sheet of any job, or the first 10 labels on a thermal roll. Pro prints every sheet in one PDF, adds your other columns as text lines and takes any custom label size. Scan the finished labels with Scanlist on the same site to count or audit them.

Does Labelsheet upload my data?

No codes, lists or labels. The barcodes and the PDF are made in your browser and nothing you type is uploaded. When you download a PDF, the page sends a random ID for this browser and a one-way hash of your network address so the free daily limit can be applied; these counters are deleted after 2 days. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Open the page and start working. It works on desktop and mobile browsers.

How does the Pro licence work?

Pro is a monthly subscription handled by Dodo Payments (our merchant of record). You receive a licence key by email and paste it under "Have a key?" inside the tool. One key works on up to 3 browsers. Cancel any time at tools.cosmovexapps.com/manage with your key (or from the Pro badge in the tool); Pro stays on until the month you paid for ends and nothing more is charged. The first 100 buyers can instead pay $49 once for a lifetime licence: no renewals, nothing to cancel.

Which Avery sheets does it support?

US Letter: Avery 5160/8160 (30 per sheet), 5161/8161 (20), 5163/8163 (10), 5167/8167 (80) and 22806 (12 square). A4: Avery L7160 (21), L7159 (24), L7163 (14) and L7651 (65). Thermal: 2x1 inch, 2.25x1.25 inch, 4x6 inch, Dymo 11354 and Dymo 30252. Pro adds any custom size.

Why are my labels slightly off the sheet?

Print at 100% or Actual size, never Fit to page; fitting shrinks the page and every label drifts. If a printer still shifts everything by the same amount, print one page on plain paper, hold it against a label sheet, and enter the difference under Printer alignment.

Can I use a sheet that is already partly used?

Yes. Set Start at label to the first empty label and the job begins there, so no labels are wasted.

Which barcode type should I pick for asset tags?

Code 128 is the usual choice: it takes letters, digits and symbols and stays compact. Use Code 39 only if an older scanner or system needs it, QR if people will scan with a phone camera, and Data Matrix for very small labels.

Will a 12-digit EAN or 11-digit UPC work?

Yes. The check digit is calculated and added. If you paste the full 13 or 12 digits, the check digit is verified, and a wrong one is listed with the correct value instead of being printed.
