Restaurant menu QR code with QR Studio
Table cards are printed once and the menu changes all the time. This page opens on a link code, so you can make the card now and re-aim it at a new menu page later.
- Paste the address of your online menu page or PDF.
- Press "Make this code editable and trackable" so you can change the destination later.
- Download the SVG for the printer, or a 2048 px PNG.
- Print one card, test it from the table distance, then print the rest.
What to know
A menu changes with the season, the prices and the day. A normal QR code has the address baked in, so a new menu page means new cards. A trackable code points at a short link you control: replace the destination with the new menu address and every printed card follows.
Keep the menu page light and mobile friendly; guests scan with one hand in a dim room. A PDF works, but a simple web page loads faster and is easier to read. Test the card with an iPhone and an Android phone at the real table distance before printing the set; 2.5 to 3 cm wide is the practical minimum for table cards.
The scan counter shows how many guests use the cards each day, which tells you whether they are worth reprinting in a better place. Scans are counted by day and device only; no personal data about guests is collected.

Questions
How do I make a QR code for my restaurant menu?
Put your menu online (a web page or a PDF), paste its address above, and make a trackable code. Print the card, and change the destination whenever the menu changes.
Can I change the menu without printing new QR codes?
Yes, with a trackable code. Edit the destination and the printed codes open the new menu. A normal code cannot be changed after printing.
What size should a menu QR code be?
At least 2.5 cm wide on a table card, larger on posters. Leave the white border around the code and test it from the distance a guest scans from.
Will the code stop working if I stop paying?
No. A trackable code keeps redirecting; only editing, extra codes and long scan history pause.
