Make your photo or PDF fit the upload limit: under 200 KB, 50 KB or any size

What Upload Fitter does

Turn phone photos, screenshots or HEIC images into one JPG or one PDF under an upload form's size limit, with a Fits or Does not fit check before you download.

Application, claim, expense and account forms often refuse a file that is a few kilobytes too big, or ask for something oddly specific: a PDF under 200 KB, a photo between 20 and 50 KB, a signature of 10 to 20 KB, a picture 3.5 x 4.5 cm. Upload Fitter takes the photos on your phone and makes one file that meets that rule, and tells you whether it does before you download it.

Pick the photos, pick the rule, and it starts. It tries the highest JPEG quality first and lowers it step by step; if that is not enough it stores fewer pixels, in steps of 10% or less. Every try is the finished file, measured, so the size you see is the size you get. Kilobytes are counted the strict way: a maximum of 200 KB means at most 200,000 bytes, and a minimum of 20 KB means at least 20,480 bytes, so the file passes whichever way the form counts.

A PDF is built from the JPEG of each page as it is, without encoding it again. A rule that cannot be met is reported as Does not fit, with the smallest size that was possible, instead of a file that the form would refuse. Photos are re-encoded in the browser, so their location and camera details are not in the result.

Free fits one photo to JPG, or up to 3 photos to one PDF, 5 times a day. Pro removes the daily limit and adds PDFs of up to 30 pages, batches into a .zip, re-fitting an existing PDF, saved form profiles and signature cleanup.

Does Upload Fitter upload my data?

Your photos and PDFs are processed in your browser and are never uploaded. When you download or share a result, the page sends us a count request with a random ID for this browser and a one-way hash of your network address, so we can apply the free daily limit. These counters are deleted after 2 days. Pro checks your licence key with our licence service. The result has its location and other photo metadata removed. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Open the page and start working. It works on desktop and mobile browsers.

How does the Pro licence work?

You pay once and receive a licence key by email from Dodo Payments (our merchant of record). Paste it under "Have a key?" inside the tool. One key works on up to 3 browsers; you can release a browser at any time to use the key elsewhere.

Why does my file manager show a slightly different size?

Some apps count 1 KB as 1,000 bytes and others as 1,024. Upload Fitter keeps the file under the maximum by the stricter count and over the minimum by the stricter count, and shows the size rounded up, so the file fits under either.

What if my photos cannot fit the rule?

The badge turns red and shows the smallest size that was possible, with what to change: remove a page, allow lower quality, or widen the range. You never get a file that is over the limit.

Does it work with iPhone HEIC photos on Android or Windows?

Yes. HEIC photos are decoded in the browser with libheif (heic-to, loaded only when a HEIC file is opened) and saved as JPG or PDF.

What does padding do?

Some forms need a minimum size. If a small photo is below it even at top quality, you can allow padding in Custom: blank bytes the image does not use are added to the file. The picture does not change. It is off unless you switch it on.
