Several photos into one PDF under 500 KB, pages in your order

Photos to PDF under 500 KB with Upload Fitter

This page opens with a PDF under 500 KB rule on A4 pages, for forms that want several pages in one file: a multi-page statement, both sides of a card, a set of receipts. Add the photos, put them in order, and the tool shares the 500 KB across the pages.

  1. Tap Choose photos and select all the pages at once; on a computer you can drop them in.
  2. Drag the grip under a thumbnail to change the order, or use Shift with the arrow keys on a keyboard.
  3. Tap the x on a page to remove it; the PDF is rebuilt each time.
  4. When the badge says Fits, download or share the PDF.

What to know

Every page gets the same quality and scale, so pages look alike and none is noticeably worse than the others. With 500 KB and 3 pages that is about 160 KB per page, which usually keeps printed text on an A4 page readable. With 10 pages it is about 50 KB per page and small print starts to suffer; split the upload into two files if the form allows it.

Free makes PDFs of up to 3 pages. Pro goes up to 30 pages. Each page is held as a compressed copy rather than a full-size picture, so a long PDF does not need a lot of memory, but an older phone with many large photos can still run out; the tool then says so instead of freezing.

Questions

Can I mix portrait and landscape photos?

Yes. With A4 or Letter, each page takes the orientation of its photo. With Fit to image, each page is the size of its photo at the chosen DPI.

Are the pages re-encoded twice?

No. Each page is encoded once as JPEG, and that JPEG is placed into the PDF as it is.

Why is the file a little under the limit, not exactly on it?

Each try is a finished file. The tool keeps the highest JPEG quality whose file is at or under the maximum, so it usually lands a few kilobytes below it. It counts the maximum as 1,000 bytes per KB, the stricter reading, so the file also passes a form that counts 1,024.

Are my photos sent anywhere?

No. They are read and encoded in your browser. When you download or share, the page sends only a count request (a random ID for this browser and a one-way hash of your network address, deleted after 2 days) for the free daily limit.

The free plan covers everything on this page. Upload Fitter Pro ($9.50 until Oct 25, then $19, paid once) is described on the Upload Fitter page.
