- In Gemini, use the copy option under the answer.
- Tap Paste here; the preview shows how the document will look.
- Choose A4 or Letter under Options, then tap Word.
- Share the file to Google Drive or Docs, or download it.
What to know
Gemini can send an answer to Google Docs itself when you are signed in on a computer. On a phone, or when you need a Word file to email or upload, copying the answer and converting it here gives you a .docx in a couple of taps, with headings, lists and tables as native Word elements.
Page size matters if the document will be printed: Letter is the default in browsers set to US or Canadian English and A4 elsewhere, and you can switch it for free. Tables are fitted to the page width with column widths based on their content, and the header row repeats when a table runs onto the next page.
This page is independent and works with answers copied from any assistant; it is not affiliated with Google. The text you paste is converted in your browser and is never uploaded. Free makes 2 files a day with a small footer; text outputs are unlimited.

Questions
Is this made by Google?
No. It is an independent tool that converts Markdown, including answers copied from Gemini.
Why not use Export to Docs?
That works well on a computer with your Google account. This page also works on a phone, without signing in, and gives you a .docx you can send anywhere.
Can I get Letter size instead of A4?
Yes. Pick Letter or A4 under Options; it applies to Word and PDF files.
Are tables kept?
Yes, as Word tables with borders and a header row. Use Excel if you want to calculate with the numbers.
The free plan covers everything on this page. Chat Export Pro ($9.50 until Oct 25, then $19, paid once) is described on the Chat Export page.
