Claude answer to Word with Chat Export
The page opens with a sample report in the Markdown that Claude's copy button produces: headings, a list, a table of numbers and a horizontal rule. Tap Word to get a .docx with Word headings and a proper table.

What to know
Answers copied from Claude with the copy button arrive as Markdown, the same format this page reads. Headings become Word headings, so the document gets a navigation pane and a table of contents can be inserted in Word. Tables become real Word tables with a header row; numbered steps become Word numbering that renumbers when you edit.
Long answers with code are common. Code blocks keep their indentation in a monospace style with a light background, and inline code uses a monospace character style. If you selected the answer on the web page instead of using the copy button, paste it with Ctrl+V (or long-press, Paste in the text box): the page turns the formatted text back into headings, lists and tables.

No. It is an independent page that converts any Markdown, including answers copied from Claude.
Do code blocks survive?
Yes. They keep their indentation and line breaks in a monospace paragraph style. Pro adds colour to keywords, strings and comments.
Can I export an artifact or a whole conversation?
Paste any Markdown text you copied. To save a whole conversation from the page on a computer, the Carryover browser extension does that.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Tap Paste, then Word; the share sheet sends the file to Drive, email or WhatsApp.
