LinkedIn post with Chat Export
The page opens with a short draft post written in Markdown, with a bold heading, a list and an italic line. Tap LinkedIn: the marks are removed, bold parts are shown with Unicode bold letters, and the character count against LinkedIn's 3,000 limit appears under the result.
- Paste the draft (from an AI chat or written in Markdown).
- Tap LinkedIn. The post text is copied immediately.
- Paste it into a new LinkedIn post and check the preview before posting.
- Untick bold with special letters under Options if you prefer plain text.
What to know
LinkedIn posts do not support Markdown or any formatting toolbar, so ** and ## show up literally. The common workaround is Unicode "mathematical" letters that look bold or italic: they are separate characters, not formatting, which is why they survive pasting. This page converts bold parts and headings to those letters and italic parts to the italic set, and removes every other mark.
Be aware of the trade-off before using them. Screen readers may read these letters one by one or skip them, and search, including LinkedIn search, does not treat them as the normal words, so keep names, keywords and hashtags in plain letters. Only A to Z, a to z and digits have bold forms; accented letters and other scripts stay as they are. You can switch the special letters off under Options and get plain text instead.
Lists keep their numbers and • bullets, and the character count shown is what LinkedIn counts toward its 3,000-character post limit. The output is free and unlimited and is created in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded or counted.

Questions
How do I make text bold on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn has no bold for posts. Tools use Unicode letters that look bold; this page does that for the bold parts of your draft, and you can turn it off.
Is Unicode bold bad for accessibility?
It can be: screen readers may read those characters letter by letter or not at all, and they are not indexed as normal words. Use them sparingly and keep important words plain.
What is the LinkedIn post length limit?
3,000 characters. The count under the result turns amber when the text is longer.
Will hashtags still work?
Yes, as long as they are typed in plain letters, which the converter leaves unchanged when they are not inside bold text.
