Uptime with Statusboard
The page is set up with one monitored website. Every check is counted, and each day becomes a bar coloured by its uptime, with the overall percentage shown under each component.
- Replace the example URL with your site and save.
- Wait for the first checks; the component switches from Checking to Operational.
- Add up to two more components on the free plan.
- Share the page link; the bars fill in day by day.
What to know
Uptime monitors usually keep their charts behind a login. A public uptime page shows the same evidence to the people who care: customers, prospects and your own team. Each bar is one day; green means at least 99.5% of checks that day succeeded, amber at least 95%, red less.
Checks run every 5 minutes, so a day has up to 288 data points per component. The percentage under the bars is calculated from every check in the period shown, not averaged from the daily colours, so one bad hour weighs exactly as much as it should.
The free plan shows 30 days of history. Pro shows 90, which is the window most uptime commitments are measured against, and emails you when a check fails so you hear about an outage before your users write in.
