Statuspage alternative with Statusboard
Statusboard covers what most small teams use a status page for: components that turn red on their own, incident updates users can follow, and daily uptime bars. It is free for one page and $9 a month for five.
- Name the page, pick its address and replace the example URLs with your own.
- Save. Each URL is checked every 5 minutes and its state appears on the public page.
- When something breaks, post an incident and add updates as you investigate and fix it.
- Link the page from your site footer and your help centre.
What to know
Atlassian Statuspage is built for large teams, with subscriber notifications, audience-specific pages and integrations priced to match. A small SaaS mostly needs three things: a public URL to send people to, components that show their own state, and a place to write incident updates. Statusboard does those three and nothing more.
What Statusboard does not have: custom domains, email or SMS subscriptions for your users, and third-party component imports. If you need those, a larger product is the right choice. If you need a page live in a minute that updates itself, this is enough.
Components with a URL are checked with a GET request every 5 minutes; a failed or slow response marks the component down and the overall banner changes on its own. Components without a URL are informational and change only through incidents.

Questions
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Pages live at tools.cosmovexapps.com/status/your-name. Link to it from status.yourdomain.com with a redirect if you want a branded address.
Can my users subscribe to updates?
No. Users see updates on the page itself, which refreshes every minute. Pro sends you, the owner, an email when a component goes down.
How often are URLs checked?
Every 5 minutes, with a 10 second timeout.
Is Statusboard free?
Yes: one page with 3 components, checks every 5 minutes, incidents and 30 days of uptime bars, with a small "Powered by Statusboard" footer. Pro is $9 a month for 5 pages, 25 components, 90 days of history, no footer and email alerts.
The free plan covers everything on this page. Statusboard Pro ($9/mo, billed monthly) is described on the Statusboard page.
